A One-Week Sale Starting Soon!

Promo header for @Smashwords Read an Ebook Weeek

Hello, Readers!

We are fast approaching Read an Ebook Week, a week encouraging readers to pick up the digital device of their choice and download a new book to read.

I'm excited to announce that several of my books snuck out from under my thumb to make themselves available as part of the Smashwords' party celebrating Read an Ebook Week!

This is a chance to get these books—first in their series—along with books from many other great authors, at a discount so you can get right to reading.

The links open in a new window. They land you on the Smashwords sales page for the specific book.

Nota Bene: This Promo is only available on the Smashwords site.

The first three titles are from my Rebecca Jamse Thriller series: Sandfall at Smashwords (free), Allure at Smashwords (75% off)  and Freedom Does Matter at Smashwords (50% off).

The next three are from my Dragons Run My Life series: The Faux Princess at Smashwords (75% off), Amerith, the Warden’s Tale at Smashwords (free) and The True Princess at Smashwords (50% off).

The titles are the first three in their respective series.

The promo and sale starts on March 1, 2026 so save the Sale Link.

I plan to leave these prices in effect through the sale. Since Smashwords has changed their rules, I’m able to respond to activity by adding titles if it seems beneficial.

If you wouldn't mind taking part in promoting this celebration of Ebooks and reading, feel free to share either this post with your friends and family. Just forward it or the Sale Link to anyone who would love a chance to find their next favorite book and, as the name suggests, read an ebook!

Thank you for your help and support!

Comments and thoughts welcome. Enjoy your reading!

A Review of the Second Entry of the new Hundred Halls series.

Ebook cover of Ruthless, Book2 of Coterie of Mages

“Family can be confusing.” Orion Dreadmarsh, Ruthless.

So true. Iona, Zuri, Justine and Orion are in their second year in Coterie, and not taking bets on survival. The Second Year Games come with the second year, and Head Patron Pythia Silverthorne brought what might as well have been an engraved invitation.
The prize, will it mean as much if they’re dead?

Ruthless is the second book in Thomas K Carpenter's Coterie of Mages series, of the hundred Halls universe. A wonderful continuation to Monstrous, and an excellent lead-in to the rest of the series. I enjoyed this installment and look forward to the other upcoming stories. Five stars and recommended heartily to any reader who’s enjoyed the Hundred Halls series so far, or who likes urban fantasy in their face.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review, which you are now reading. I enjoyed it sufficiently to participate in the Kickstarter for the series.

I read it using Apple Books app on my MacBook Air.
This review (or an essentially similar one) will also be posted on the appropriate Shopify, Goodreads and Amazon pages.

I’m certain that the book is available anywhere you might wish.
Enjoy!

A Review of the new Hundred Halls series starter entry.

Monstrous bodes well for the Coterie of Mages series.

Cover of Monstrous ebook

Rarely have three misfits succeeded so well as Justine, Zuri and Iona in an altogether hostile environment.
I enjoyed this first of the series, and look forward to reading the others. If you have enjoyed Mr. Carpenter’s other work in the Hundred Halls series, I’m confident that you will find in Monstrous a worthy follow-on, and I heartily recommend it as soon as you’re able to get your copy.

I acquired Monstrous as an ARC in exchange for an honest review, which you now read.  I enjoyed it enough to back the Kickstarter for the series.

This review (or an essentially similar one) is also posted on the appropriate Shopify, Goodreads and Amazon pages.

The book is available anywhere you might wish. Enjoy!
